    alert log messages

    I see lot of the following messgaes in my alert log at different times

    SMON offlining US=126 and

    Undo Segment 137 Onlined


    what does these mean?

    it means your oracle managed undo segments (i.e. rollback segments) are being offlined and onlined as they are needed.

    Your database will crash in less then one hour.
    Do you have a backup?
