Are you going to Oracle OpenWorld?

I just got a call from Oracle asking me if I am going to OpenWorld. I went to that once in 2000 and I wasn't impressed. IMHO, it was all hype no substance. Oracle Users Group seemed like a better deal. Other than the fact that I got to ee Bare Naked Ladies and got to spend a week in San Francisco, Oracle OpenWorld was a waste.

I never went although the company usually sends one of us, the two seniors usually get to go.

I'd probably wind up renting a car, visiting friends up north and destroying some of my short term memory.

You could also knock down some redwoods,
while you are in the neighborhood.
