What level are the OCA exams set for?

    Hi

Ive recently graduated from a business / it degree in which i did a solid 4 year database design course using oracle 9i.

Im very keen to get involved in databases at the enterprise level, ideally database analyst. And im looking for a good way of rubber stamping the specifics ive learnt on the db unit and university.

I am considering very hard the DBA or Developer OCA certification. My course mainly focused theory and using the database e.g. tables, indexes, cache, physical storage etc. I just wanted you opinion on what level is needed to add to these skills so that i could go for either the DBA or Developer OCA.

    Thanks

This isn't necessarily a plug for them, although the exams are right on target, but buy an online (cheaper) or download version of a SelfTest Software Oracle exam. Taking a practice exam should tell you where you are and if you need to study.
