    oracle 9i client and oracle 8i database connectivity

    I install oracle 9i client on my machine with windows 98 p4.i am able to connect from sql*plus to the database ORACLE 8.1.5 running on HP-UX11.0 SERVER.But when i launch enterprise management console the database option is not comming.when i select "Add database to tree" option it will not opening anthing.Kindly suggest me what to do next

    do you have two Oracle softwares installed on your client?
    Try using net manager on your client and see if everything looks good.
    Oracle it's not just a database it's a lifestyle!
