    URGENT - Data Block corruption

    When i try to take backup using RMAN (incremental level 0) it was terminated and showing block corruption in system datafile.

    I have check the dba_extents and the object is OBJ$

    and below message indicated in alert log file

    Reread of blocknum=13458, file=D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORCL\SYSTEM01.DBF. found same corrupt data

    But i do not have oracle support so i cannot raise TAR.


    Presently my database is running. i have not shutdown the DB after getting this error. If i bounce the DB then what will happen? will it opened??

    restore from backup and roll forward then.

    And seeing as thought you don't have support, it cant be very important so you could just delete it and re-create it

    I have taken offline backup yesterday night.

    So, i have restore SYSTEM tablespace's datafile and recover it??
