    i cloned a db...how do i chg the GLOBAL_NAME in the cloned DB??

    hi,

    I have cloned a test DB from another and I discovered that the test DB(now with a diff SID) is having the SID name of my cloned db source when i perform a "SELECT * from GLOBAL_NAME"...is there anyway I can chg that ?? becos if i turn on GLOBAL_NAME to TRUE i will hv prob with the TEST DB that i hv cloned..any advice from gurus here?

    I did...and i found out after i posted this in the forum.

    ALTER DATABASE RENAME GLOBAL_NAME TO XXX

    ..
