    Implementing RAC

    Hi All,

Currently we are in Configuration of shared-nothing with MSCS & OFS.
We are planning to go RAC.
I am bit confused with Shared Storage configuration.

With MSCS we cant configure RAC & i went through metalink site white papers and found there we possible of configuring RAC with RAW file system or OCFS.

It will be great if some one can clarify me on this.

subjectively speaking of course, ocfs is much easier to manage but how knows, maybe he needs those extra percentage points in performance

do your reasearch dude, look on metalink, rtfm

from a high level raw devices may offer marginally better performance and a clustered file system may be easier to maintain
