Post Question: How to determine products installed after Database created?

After a database is created with n products (like Java,Intermedia,XML,...) is there a data dictionary view
that is like v$version which specifes the products installed ?
If yes for Oracle 8i and Oracle 9i ....
[Usefull especially when maintaining a DB that someone else created]

    DBA_REGISTRY works for Oracle 9i
    What about Oracle 8i ?

v$option is a good choice, but it show only products installed inside the db, and do not show installation´s date. To know dates, and/or about other products, IF anyone remove them, OUI make some log files (in C:\Program files\Oracle\Inventory\logs , or something like it), file names are made of the install dates, and inside each file you will find (here im my example I installed Oracle docs in a Portuguese-language machine, so the user messages are in Portuguese, but the principle is the same for anyone ):

    ....
    A versão do Installer é 2.2.0.10.0a
    ....
    *** Resumo Página***
    ShowSummary = SHOW_SUMMARY_PAGE = true
    Definições Globais
    Origem : E:\stage\products.jar
    Oracle Home : D:\O9IR2 (9iR2_home)
    Tipo de Instalação : Personalizar
    Idiomas do Produto
    Inglês
    Requisitos de Espaço
    D:\ Exigido 803MB (inclui 223MB temporário) : DisponÃ*vel 2.45GB
    C:\ Exigido 2KB : DisponÃ*vel 2.54GB
    Novas Instalações (1 produto)
Oracle9i Database Documentation for Microsoft Windows 9.2.0.1.0

You get the dates from DBA_CATALOG. The original poster asked for any dictionary view holding that information and davey23uk gave him a very concise and accurate answer.
