    ora-1092

    Hi When I am creating the db Manualy
    getting the message

    Ora-1092-Oracle instance terminated.Disconnection forced

    What is Oracle version?.Did u check the alert.log.Also check ur script that no obsolate parameters are used.Try to put ur script here.

    It's because you don't have write permission to BACKGROUND_DUMP_DEST. Please change the owner of BACKGROUND_DUMP_DEST to your oracle user and set the permission to 755.

    Abhay nothing is coming in alert .log
    You don't have write permission of alert.log that located at BACKGROUND_DUMP_DEST, surely there is nothing coming to your alert.log.
