    Red face

    Hello Guys,
I am running 8i on UNIX platform. I have a table that I think has been growing.
1.How do I monitor it to find out how much it grows and how do I forecast it's growth (say for ten months from now).
    2. what will be the best way to resize it in order to take care of the growth.

    thanks,
    dorothy

Analyze the table with compute statistics .
From dba_tables you can get the average row length.

average row length *no of rows will be the segment size.
