    clone database in different version of operating system

    Hi DBAs,

    I want to clone a database using the cold backup taken from
    the same operating system but in different version.
    The database is in the same version.

    For example:
    I want to clone a database running on AIX 4.3 using the
    cold backup taken from one on AIX 5.2.

    Is it possible?
