Violent Anti-War Protesters
You gotta love the irony in that.
Let's discuss shall we?
I remember when this place was cool.

Using civil disobedience to protest something unpopular is fine. I think that Martin Luther King Jr. set the standard for how to protest. But when a protest turns violent, then its gone too far. Escpecially the incident where someone attacked a police officer, that takes a tense situation and makes it 100 times worse.
I agree with the irony though. I'm sure that most Americans will be happy once the table election is over.

Can we do "compassionate conservative" after that?

Oh Dave, you are too funny, so far left that you can acknowledge nothing.
Maybe we can discuss a “more sensitive war” too.
I’ll get my spitballs ready.
How bout Cheney’s speech huh Dave, did you love it?

I didn't catch Cheny's speech. But I found a transcript of it on the web. Check it out in case you missed some of what he was really saying. Cheney's Speech

From one of your own
"Miller, a Democrat, chastised Kerry for voting against weapons programs. "This is the man who wants to be the commander in chief of our U.S. Armed Forces?" Miller asked. "U.S. forces armed with what? Spitballs?"
I remember when this place was cool.

I got the gist of it -- "Bush is decisive ... Kerry is French ... the GOP is chock-a-block with minorities ... if you don't vote for us then we'll all be destroyed .... be very afraid". Usual crowd-pleasing stuff, and no surprises.
What's the story with this guy Miller? I see he repeated the "Kerry voted against the following weapon systems ..." lie, side-stepping Cheneys opposition to those same weapon systems (mentioned here before, right?) It's like someone's implanted a little chip in his brain to make him dumb things.
I wish the dems would start telling lies as often and as effectively as the repubs do so.

But Dave that would take the fun out of exposing the republicans lies.

It's only fun the first time -- when it's repeated again and again and again I start to lose my interest (and roll my eyes also). You know if someone wants to believe the lies, then they're not going to be interested in the truth, right? I mean that applies not just to GOP political speeches, or to left-wing movies, but to religion, personal relationships, sports, whatever.
Thoughts?
