    ufsdump, crontab and multiple tapes

    Hi

Has anyone got experience managing multiple tapes with ufsdump? When ufsdump needs a second tape because of space problems I get this message in UNIX prompt

    Code:
DUMP: NEEDS ATTENTION: Is the new volume (#2) mounted on `viva-pro:/dev/rmt/0' and ready to go?: ("yes" or "no")
So I simply insert a new tape and mounted and writes yes then enter

However if I program the job in CRONTAB there is no terminals to perform this task interactively. Does anyone know how to overcome this?

how do you insert a new tape from a crontab job?

we had the same issue and turn the auto backups to manual backups.
