you can do an import with show=y but it won't show data

define "txt file".

Do you mean "convert the data to SQL commands" or do you mean "Create the ddl to create the structures?"

indexfile=yourfile.txt gives all the ddl commands.

He is requesting for a tool that converts dump file to text . not indexfile=//...txt. I think what he mean is all ddl statements and all insert/update statements to recreate the schema with data. or to easily migrate Schema to another servers like sql server or db2.
