    How to sync clone DB

    Hello,

Please suggest what should i use to sync the newly Cloned DB.

What would be Possible solutions to use, so as to propagate the DMLs from Dev1 to Prod1 ?

DataProcessing on Dev1 ---> Production running on Prod1

Only 2 table needs to be propogated.

The tables are over 800Million Recs/200GB each.

    1) Standby - mostly not, cause, the Prod server needs changes to other objects which might not be available with Dev server in future.
    2) Replication/ Materialized View - is it possible ?
    3) Simple trigger machanizm can be given the least priority.

    Please suggest !!!
    Thanks
    Jr.

    1. What do mean? I don't understand. Heard of logical standby? You can replicate specify tables.
    2. Yes. Streams would be another possibility.

Several 3rd party tools will do the job as well - shareplex is a popular one.
