    Hello,
    Can any one please go through the steps involved in using NET*8 Easy config to create an ALIASE in a database. I have two database on separate machines and I want to creat an aliase for both of them.

    The is a program called netasst in your $ORACLE_HOME/bin directory. This is a GUI that will help you to configure a tnsnames.ora file properly.

    Hi,
    I did not see netasst under ORACLE_HOME/ORA81/BIN
    So can you please answer my question on how to use NET*8 Easy config to create an ALIASE in a database?
