Stariting OS level services at startup on linux

    hi
at last i m successfull in installing the Oracle on linux...now i want to know is that i have two databases and i want to set operating level services for my databases...i want one to be automatic at system startup and other manual(not at system startup)....how will i do this on Linux9..if u could tell me both in GUI and on some file or on command line then do tell me....
in windows...we can even set that when we start OS level service for a database then database must also be started using registry variable ORA_ORCL_AUTOSTART=true
do we have any this kind of option for oracle in Linux???

Metalink is a valuable resource where you can find answers to your questions with just a little reading. To start you off go to that site and simply plug in the word "oratab" in the search box and you'll have your answers in no time. If you don't have access to Metalink you can Google it as well.
    Oracle it's not just a database it's a lifestyle!
