    weird session

    this bothers me guys,

when I use OEM to view session to be killed, I can't see it.
But when I use sqlplus i did see it and eventually killed it.
I did kill it in sqlplus but the session remained.
What seems to be the problem? current status right now is KILLED.

Wait till PMON clears the process.. Or go and kill the OS process itelf.

Do I just have to wait the smon(or was it pmon?) to clean this mess,
    or there's a workaround?

This happens when power failure occurs and some users doesn't have a UPS and when they logged the next time they can't, because there is still a session left under there username.

May workaround for now is to assign them to a profile with much higher number of login, but of course this is not a good practice for ease of maintenance seak.

    Thanks in advance.
