Contention in Rollback Segment

Hi

Database Version: 8.1.7.3 on Solaris 8

The active Transactions for my Rollback Segments are showing "0" beside 1 or 2. But I can see average 1400 - 1700 "WAITS" value for each of those rollback segments.

1. Should I add more rollback segments? (As waits are > 0)
2. Why WAITS values are > 0, even when my xacts value is showing 0.

maybe you not only need to increase the # of your RBS, but to make it bigger too. There is already a bunch of topic about RBS maybe you can search one.
