    wich oracle.exe is running?

    if we h've more database running on Windows, in windows task manager, we just see that more oracle.exe r running. Is there any method to rename oracle.exe to sid name??

    well this thing is internal to operating system....OS doiesnt know what is an SID...it just recognises that what processes are running and with which name these processes are registerd with the OS...so i dont think that there may be a method that u see ur SID instead of ORACLE.EXE...as u see that SID is not an EXE file but in task manager u can just see that a process is started with the name ORACLE.EXE that is started by ORACLE server software

    There are lots of freebie tools available which will give you a process listing, along with memory used. With this information it should be straightforward to map the oracle.exe to the corresponding SID.
