    incremental EXPORT

    Hello all..

    I am on Oracle 9i and wondering if we can do an Incremental EXPORT ?..When i did EXP HELP=Y i did see INCTYPE Parameter...

    How do we use it ?...any help is appreciated..

    The INCTYPE parameter is obsolete as of Oracle 9.0.1.

    With Oracle9i Release 2 an error message is displayed.

    but do we have INCREMENTAL backup option in EXP in ORacle 9.2 ?

    The INCTYPE parameter is obsolete in Oracle 9i with export/import.

    However you can do incremental backups in Oracle 9i using RMAN.
