    Character set marker unknown

    hi
    i am trying to import the database it's giving the err- IMP-00037 Character set marker unknown

    export version used 6.00.36 (database V.6.0.36.4.2).
    I transferred the dmp file from unix to windows using binary mode.

    What could be the problem.?
