Hi Friends
My working softwate Details r as under,

Oracle 8i release 8.1.6(database)
Oracle 8i Internet Application Server
Sun Sparc OS 2.8

First I want to know how can I crete IAS
Database Acces Descriptor

(I can not become clear by refering technet.oracle.com
documentation).

So please send the steps by giving one example.

And after this how can access http page.

What precaution should take in care .

Pl reply me earliest.

Sorry this might not be helpful but since we just started testing iAS recently I am not an expertise neither.
Well if iAS works like OAS there should be an config assistant?
If i remember right you could also configure DAD through a browser

With OAS (which is just an older version of iAS as far as I know), you could do it through the web configuration utility, as pando said. Check the docs that came with the iAS.
