    LOGMINER - any performance issue?

    Hi,

Is there any performance issue to configure and switch on the 'LOGMINER' in production server? If yes why?

of course it will affect performance, just as any other session "affects" performance. The best performing box is a box that has no users.

The question main question is "Is the need for the information out of logminer greater than the need of the population at large?". This is a question only you and your management team can answer. If you have a development box, run logminer on your development box with the production archived redo logs.
