I have been having problem with discovering the database on Linux server on the OEM running on Windows 2000. Any way, my problem is solved but I don't understand about this.
what is the funcnalitly of the /etc/oratab on Linux??? For some reason, I have to add all of the SID into this file so that the service.ora got updated when I restated the agent.
could someone please tell me what is the oratab for???
