Lightbulb COPY FROM vs Materialized view

    Hi,
i want to make DB A and DB B tally at 12:00am. The master DB is A. I want to perform select, update and insert to DB B. What would be the best method to make DB B tally with DB B? Is it using "COPY FROM ..." or Materialized view?

    - DB A and DB B at different Machine.

    Thanks.

I would use materialized views, or a server-side procedure running through a db link, so that the process can be controlled by the server without any client-side scheduling.

slimdave, if "copy from .." sql command i put on the server.. it will consider server-side programming..
i really in doubt about of choosing this two method..
