oracle Upgrade

Hi ,

This is not a technical question but still thought it would be relevant to this forum .

i want to upgrade oracle from 8.1.7 to 9i and 8.1.7 to 10g

this i want to do it on trial version first and then on production .

what formalities do i need to follow ..

is it free upgrade or do we need to buy new 9i version.
if yes could anybody have idea on pricing .

i want to share your views before approching oracle .

do we need to pay even to do test databse upgrade
ofcourse enterprise edition .

If you are under oracle support upgrade are free.

Single user developement license is free even for enterprise edition. Read the license terms before downloading.
