    Testing i/o bandwidth on HP/UX

Does anyone know if there's a command on HP/UX similar to the "hdparm -t" (I think) on Linux, that would let me test unbuffered bandwith to my storage devices?

Dont know of an HP specific tool, but take a look at iozone. I have used it loads of times to measure IO bandwith on my customer sites

Well that iozone looks reel purdy an' all, but sadly this is a gov't system, and it'd take maybe two+ years to get permission to install something like that.

    Thanks anyway, Davey.
