    background process : ora_innn

    Hallo,

    on HP-UX11i with Oracle 9.2.0.4 I found
    some backround processes like:

    oracle 6681 1 0 Apr 27 ? 13:58 ora_i101_
    oracle 6683 1 0 Apr 27 ? 13:47 ora_i102_
    oracle 6685 1 0 Apr 27 ? 13:45 ora_i103_

    Which kind are this processes?
    How many will be start by startup?
    When will restart more of this processes?

    They are your dbwr io slaves. Your database has slaves setup.
