Dear Friends, I am new to RMAN backup and recovery. Its working fine on the server machine. Now i want to test my rman backups in a different host with a different file system. Can i do the same. If so how to go ahead. I am using Oracle 9i. Awaiting your help on the same. Regards Pradipta
yes you can do it. The documentation has lots of examples. I suggest you try something and let us know what specific problems you are encountering.
