    Table recovery question

I need to recover a single table that was dropped last week.

The 9.2.0.4 (on RedHat) database is in archivelogmode and a full database backup is done every Sat. Every other night I do archivelog backups.

My problem is that the tablespace the table was in is online and in use. So I can't just recover the tablespace.

Is my only option to recover that tablespace to a new database? I'd really like to recover that table alone and to the existing database.

I'll bet you would. Unfortunately, the only way I see you can do it is to restore the relavent files & tablespaces (control, system, undo, your ts, etc) on another box, recover to just before the object was dropped, and export/import.
