    Cool Rman and Data Guard

    Hi,

Have anybody implemented RMAN for backup and recovery?

I am a little bit traditional and have been sticking to
Hot Backup, Cold Backup and Logical Backup. Never had a
chance to work on RMAN before.

Am Interested in implementing RMAN and Dataguard.

Appreciate your implementation experience inputs on these areas.

    Thanks
    Murali

we use both, you need to set it up , read, read , read, test , test test, make sure sure it's in your comfort level when /if you decide to implement it
