Oracle Advanced Security with RAC

Hi,

I'm configuring Oracle RAC on Windows with Advanced Security for encryption&integrity.

i've successfully installed the RAC and tested it, after that OAS is configured and test.... every thing was worked fine.

I'd a requirment for MQ Series cluster on top of same, so i confiured MSCS. After this OAS is not working properly... When i try to login to SQL it gives the error ORA-12514 & ORA-12560

But with out OAS configuration i can able to login to database.
Only if i'm enabling OAS then listener also not listening for database and not able to login.

Pls suggest some idea to solve this issue.

Hi,

Here i've found some more information on this issue.

If OAS is configured for other then RCxxx encryption algorithm with REQUIRED mode in server side, listener is not registering database instance and hence it thro ORA 12514 error in SQL.

Its works fine with RC encyption with any combination, and all others encryption with all combination expect REQUIRED mode.

Any idea ?
