    Access application to Oracle 8.1.7

    There is a table that is accessing an Oracle 8.1.7 database from Access 2000. As soon as the icon for the table in Access is clicked it just closes out(crashes). It does not get to the username/ password dialog box. What could be the possible reason?

    1. You're using Microsoft's Oracle ODBC driver instead of Oracle's.
    2. You haven't rebooted your machine in 3 hours.
    3. You need to apply service pack 238 revision K.
