    OPS$ORACLE user

    How does OPS$ORACLE user differ from SYSTEM and SYS. what is the benefit of this user. Is it created automatically or has to be created manually.

    it enables the os user 'oracle' do sqlplus / and get in the database, it has no special priveleges unless you gave it to them.

    ops$ is the prefix for using os authentication
