    Insert Performance

    Hello

I have recently created my Oracle 9.2.1 database on Solaris 8. I am currently importing data which is taking along time. I have been looking at Redo logs usage etc and have increased the number of groups. There are 6 with each group having 1 100Mb redo log.

I've also created an undo tablespace of 500Mb. The performance is poor though and would appreciate any pointers as my Oracle DBA knowledge is rusty to say the least !
