    Hello !

I'm working on NT servers and like to know who
    use the PID = 1?

I found following infos in the ALRTxxx.log but nothing about pid=1 !!!

    PMON started with pid=2
    DBW0 started with pid=3
    LGWR started with pid=4
    CKPT started with pid=5
    SMON started with pid=6
    RECO started with pid=7

    Thank you for your answer

Maybe ORADIM, who instanciate the database and is running until the db gets started.

I think PID 1 may be reserved for the O/S rather like UNIX

Perhaps an NT person can clarify
    :p :p :p
