    YES,
    YOU CAN DO 0+1 WITH 3 DISKS. but unfortunately not on the planet earth.

    0+1 is different with 1+0 on how they work. 1+0 it's mirror first and sripe while 0+1 it's stripe first and mirror. To me it is better to use 1+0 - Just common sense.

    Still can do 1+0 with 3 disks, but again not in the planet earth.. maybe in pluto can.
