issue about log_archive_trace
Hi,
Here is the information describing my issue about trace files and data guard.
database: oracle 9.2.0
os: Linux advance 2.1
running model: data guard
5 months ago, i had set the parameter log_archive_trace to zero,
but i still found the following information in the trace file esal_arc0_8339.trc.
i can not understand, can anyone tell me why?
and i also want to know whether it is definite that oracle will not write any informative messages
except errors into trace files as long as the value is zero?

On which instance have you set this parameter to 0 - on primary, on standby or on both?
On which instance you are getting such tracefiles generated - on primary, on standby or on both?
Are you sure you actually have set it to 0? Can you verify it by querying v$parameter/v$spparameter on both databases?
