    SP File and pfile

    hi,
    My Oracle DB is starting using the "SPFILEORACLE".
    But i want to change this PFILE.
    How to i cahnge the Sp File to Pfile?

    create pfile from spfile;

    shutdown

    remove spfile

    startup

    have to ask why though, spfiles are generally a good thing

    because if you dont remove it and just do 'startup'

    it will use the spfile, which the op doesnt want
