Oracle Data Architect - Washington DC Metro Area

Job location: Washington DC Metro Area, Montgomery County Maryland.

My organization is looking for a qualified data architect that is capable of turning customer requirements into logical and physical data models. Applicant needs to have clear communication skills for interfacing with the customer and have the ability to come up to speed quickly.

Currently the customer is in an analysis gathering phase and I would like a data modeling expert to be an immediate part of my team to help guide choices and architect logical data models. Enterprise modeling tool of choice is ERWin 4.0, experience with ERWin will be required as we will be using extended features of ERWin such UDP's, CRUD stored procedures & triggers, Model Mart, Report Builder, & forward/reverse engineering.

There will be some data requirements to convert legacy data out of an Informix database into the new model which will be housed in Oracle.
