    Lightbulb DataBase Administration

    Dear DBAs
    I am facing a problem that is "Data Block #xxx Corrupt". The infected file is "sysorcl.ora". Please give me solution.

    is this file ur system datafile?

    Start srvmgr or sqlplus as SYSDBA

    1. Startup Mount
    2. Recover Database;

    If you still get above error.

    1. SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATE;
    2. Backup current database regardless of state.
    3. Locate all your archive logs.
    4. Restore corrupted system datafile
    5. startup mount
    6. recover database
