    Export , Import specific columns

    Hi all,

I need your expertise here. I need to export tables and the data into another database. I will export the structure of the table and specific columns only, not all data are required. Only specific column data are needed to be exported.

Can Oracle export and import utilities do this straight away?

Thanks so much, your help is appreciated.
    God bless

You can export the tables only without rows.

You could import the table and copy the selected columns, then drop the imported tables.

Import the tables and drop the columns which you don't need.
