    Multiple listeners- Windows 2000

I've configured a second listener on a windows 2000 server, however im having problems getting the second listener to start automatically. Im running 9i release 2. The existing listener service just seems to run: ORACLE_HOME\BIN\TNSLSNR which just starts the default LISTENER. Does anyone know a way I can have both listners start on reboot.

If you run "START my_listener_name" in lsnrctl it will create the Windows service you need, if it does not exist already. Then use the Services applet (in Control Panel) to make it auto-start.

You don't know how relieved I am . . . this is hidden in Appendix E of the 8i Admin Guide for Windows NT - I hadn't a clue if it would really work for 9i2 and Win2K ! ! ! ! Not a whiff of it in the 9i doc.
