    Ftp

    Dear All
    At the moment I am using Oracle Apps over HP 9000 platform , when using FTP to transfer files between UNIX servers , after an houror more of transfering I noticed that server performance starts to degrade until I am in need to re-start the machine despite that it is a dual PA-RISC + 2G RAM + SAN ,, I am not a UNIX admin , any suggestions.

    Does not make sense. Did you look at top 10 processes to see that it is the ftp that is hogging all the CPU?
