    Hi, all
When I try to start Oracle OEM Server Service on my NT, I get the following error:

Error2140:An Internal Windows NT error occurred.
I rebooted NT machine twice, the same error message shows up.
Does anybody have any clue? Thanks for help.

By the way, my NT version is NT service Pack 4.

Start it by hand to know what's going on.
    C:\>oemctrl start oms

    thanks, rcaballe
I did what you advise, it shows
Error starting Oracle Management Server. ORA-12222:TNS:no such protocol adapter.
I have not made any change to my NT machine. What should I do right now? Thanks again.

Go to the configuration wizard and edit the configuration
Make sure your connection string is the type
    HOST:PORT:SID
    example
    MYMACHINE:1521:ORCL
    Don't put an alias.

Yes, my configuration is exactly like what you wrote. What is Protocol Adaptor, may I ask? Is it something like TCP/IP?
    Thanks.
