    OCP 8i

    Finally the day came .

    I completed OCP8i path.

I took almost 4- 5 months for each exam.I practised STS more than any thing.I almost got the same score i got in STS while practising in all exams.some times the same scores surprises me .

Never really scored big.everything was self study.

thanks to every one who answered my questions in the past.much appreciated

It costed me a lot.exams are fun but expensive.

    hi,

    congratulations!

can you share your experience with us.

it will be helpful for us.

what was your approach to the exam?

    how did you prepare?

    what material you used?

in what order you took the exams?

    sample questions, if any?

    anymore valuable suggestions?

    thanks

    here is how i prepared

I have very little experience as oracle DBA or developer.I still post lot of simple questions here in the forum.

    for preparation

1.ILT.very good but i used sql plsql.backup from sybex
    2.sts
3.sample questions like for example i found 20 questions in our
forums it self by searching "1z0-026" and some google.

4.the major thing i did was going is concentrating those chapters
where we get more questions like for example in PT we got more
on chapters like sharedpool and buffer pool.I try to read and
practise questions as many times as possible, doesn't mean i
    leave the rest.
5.the order i took was(sql,aa,br,net,PT).one way network was easy
and difficult because concept is difficult but questions are
straight forward from book, no other logic

6.DBASUPPORT members, moderators were really helpful in answering
lot of sample questions I got from google etc.I am very thankful
    to each and every one.

    cheers
