any1 try installing Oracle9i-Solaris(SPARC) on Solaris 9-INTEL platform??

wonder if anyone has try the above combination?? I am curious why Oracle has not released a Solaris-INTEL platform version ?? hehe..
anyway because recently SUN has announced the free evaluation of Solaris on INTEL platform that's why i am trying to test out installing Oracle...but to my dismay there's no such release...

any comments?

maybe cos no-one wants it???? Linux is probably taking over that market and thats wehere Oracle is going

I haven't tried installing Oracle 9i for OS/390 on an IBM PC because I know it won't work. They are two different architectures.

it seems strange...the metalink seems to hv support for Solaris-INTEL for oracle9i ..but i just cannot find any downloaded for Oracle9i for that platform? perhaps it need to be purchased??

anyone know where i can get a working binary for oracle of any version for Solaris-INTEL? ..will be appreciated if u point me to that site
