Unlimited tablespace system privilege

UNLIMITED TABLESPACE is a system privilege. I set up a quota for a user and granted them resource and connect roles. Then couldn't understand as to why this new user was able to exceed their quota to their hearts content. Then I find out that when you grant resource this includes the above privilege. So why is it that when I select from ROLE_SYS_PRIVS i don't see this privilege included in the list of system privileges for the RESOURCE role.

Yes it is odd fraze, didn't think of looking in session_privs though, thanks for that.
