    How to change Oracle's password?

    I want to change password for oracle unix account on our server. We are on solaris. How do I do this? Thanks.

    Login as an oracle user and type passwd

    Use admintool if you have root privilege or ask you sysadmin.

    if he had root priveleges im pretty sure he wouldnt need how to ask. Also shouldnt need to ask the sys admin for help.

    A quick search on google for 'how to change a unix password' returns so many hits its unbelieveable
